Coastline Sundecks have been in operation since 1994 under the sole management of Rory Tanner.  He is supported by his wife, Michele in the office.

Timber Decking is the perfect solution for sloping properties.

A sundeck can be attached to your home or patio, or it can be completely free standing,  It can be built around a pool, koi pond or Jacuzzi.  Create a viewing deck, braai deck or a veranda. Cover an unattractive corner of the garden or simply create a garden pathway and landscaping feature!  There are no limits.

Sundecks in Kwa-Zulu Natal are commonly constructed from Balau timber that is imported from Malaysia.  It is an extremely dense timber, containing natural toxins that make it impervious to rot and termites. However, due to the diverse weather conditions in our various regions it is suggested that the client sources the correct timber most suited to their particular weather conditions.

As a sundeck requires to be constructed to an Engineer’s details to ensure the sundeck is built soundly and can hold the appropriate weight, we do not recommend this project as a DIY.
